AB  - Young people leaving alternative care in Serbia face numerous challenges while they frequently lack formal and informal support for emancipation. Resilience and preparedness for leaving care increase their chances for successful transition and social integration. This article aims to understand the resilience of youth leaving care in Serbia and the relationship between resilience, type of placement (foster, residential or kinship) and preparedness for leaving care. Quantitative analysis of replies 134 adolescents leaving alternative care had made in self-assessment questionnaires showed: high resilience scores of subjects, lower resilience of youth leaving residential than foster care and interconnectedness between the resilience and most of the indicators of preparedness for emancipation. Results suggest that resilience: (a) could be fostered by improving mental health, structured leisure time, self-care and social skills, and by quality foster carers' support; (b) contributes to positive feelings and general positive attitude toward life; (c) is not connected to school achievements and support by family and other caregivers; (d) of care leavers had more to do with their skills to gain social support than with receiving support from family and the alternative care system. Future research could investigate emancipation outcomes of youth with different baseline resilience and preparedness levels.

AB  - U  tekstu  se  analiziraju  ključni  argumenti  ljevičarskofeminističkih  pristupa  rodno  zasnovanom  nasilju  kao  jednom  od  osnovnih  mehanizama  održavanja  kapita-lističkog  sistema.  Ova  tema  pojavljuje  se  već  u  radovima  klasika  marksizma,  međutim  tek u toku perioda tzv. drugog talasa ona se na specifičan način artikuliše kao zasebna tema  u  užefeminističkoj  perspektivi.  U  savremenom  pristupu  teorije  socijalne  repro-dukcije (TSR), rodno zasnovano nasilje postaje predmet proučavanja uvezan sa drugim aspektima strukturnog nasilja – globalnim, ekološkim, klasnim, rasnim, heteronorma-tivnim.U  ovom  tekstu,  nakon  sažete  istorije  lijevofeminističkih  pristupa  fenomenu  rodno  za-snovanog nasilja, akcenat se stavlja na neke od gorućih dilema i izazova pristupa TSR, i  to  posebno  u  kontekstu  krize  izazvane  globalnom  pandemijom  COVID-19.  Naime,  kriza  je  učinila  nesporno  vidljivim  da  se  savremeno  kapitalističko  društvo  zasniva  na  radu  ključnih  radnica  i  radnika,  koji  trpe  višestruko  sistemsko  nasilje.S  tim  u  vezi,  u  tekstu  se  razmatra  pitanje  kako  pomoću  TSR  prevazići  stepen  deskripcije  problema  strukturnog  nasilja  i  teorijski  utemeljiti  njegovo  objašnjenje,  koje  bi  podrazumijevalo  i nivo opšte kritike sistema, ali i konkretne nivoe realizacije nasilja. I drugo, koje alate pristup  teorije  socijalne  reprodukcije  osmišljava  kako  bi  rodno  zasnovano  strukturno  nasilje moglo biti prevaziđeno.
AB  - The paper analyzes the key arguments in the left-feminist approaches to gender-based violence as one of the main mechanisms underpinning the capitalist system. Already  present  in  the  works  of  classical  Marxist  thinkers,  it  was  only  during  the  so-called Second Wave period that this theme became articulated as a distinct issue within a more specifically feminist perspective. In the contemporary approach provided by the social  reproduction  theory  (SRT),  gender-based  violence  becomes  a  research  subject  intertwined  with  other  aspects  of  structural  violence  –  global,  ecological,  class-based,  racial, heteronormative.In this paper, a brief history of the left-feminist approaches to the phenomenon of gen-der-based  violence  is  followed  by  the  treatment  of  some  of  the  burning  questions  and  challenges  of  the  SRT  approach,  particularly  in  the  context  of  the  crisis  caused  by  the  global COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis has made plainly visible that the contemporary capitalist society is based on the labour of essential workers – male and female, exposed to  multiple  forms  of  systemic  violence.  Additionally,  the  paper  analyzes  the  ways  in  which  SRT  can  help  overcome  the  stage  of  mere  description  of  the  problem  of  structural  violence  and  provide  a  theoretical  foundation  for  its  proper  analysis;  this  would  include both general criticism of the system, and the treatment of specific instances of violence. Finally, the papers discusses the tools provided by social reproduction theory that can help overcome gender-based violence.

AB  - The subject of this PhD thesis is the development of Yugoslav socialist feminism between 1975 and 1990, from the point of view of contemporary theories that emerged at the intersection of gender and class analysis. In order to delineate the position of Yugoslav socialist feminism in the history of leftist feminisms, we trace the dynamic relationship of women's and workers' liberation movements from the end of the 19th century, via so-called second-wave leftist feminist currents, to the modern tendencies. In particular, the thesis provides a comparative interpretation of the works by Vida Tomšič, Blaženka Despot and Nada Ler-Sofronić, according to these three criteria: how do these authors reinterpret the classics of Marxism; how do they explain the relationship of the concepts of class and gender; and what was their opinion on the so-called women's question within the workers' movement, that is, on feminist organizations. Based on this, we identify two original Yugoslav leftist approaches to feminism: the socialist self-management approach to the women's question, which emerged from the tradition of classical Marxism, linking it with the Yugoslav self-management theory, and the Yugoslav socialist feminism, which critically approaches the classical cannon, intersects and develops further on the second-wave leftist approaches in relation to the theory and practice of socialist self-management. In addition, the study of this corpus goes beyond mere interpretation of the past. It also addresses important questions for the present moment, regarding the possibilities of forging alliances between feminism and Marxism, as well as the other progressive movements. By doing so, we aim at re-establishing a continuity with the leftist feminist tradition in the region, a contiuity that was briefly interrupted during the 1990s and 2000s, and thus, at intervening into the history of Yugoslav thought on feminism and Marxism alike
AB  - Razvoj jugoslovenskog socijalističkog feminizma, u periodu od 1975. do 1990, iz ugla savremenih teorija nastalih na presjeku analiza roda i klase, tema je ove doktorske disertacije. Kako bi se odredilo mjesto jugoslovenskog socijalističkog feminizma u ljevičarskoj feminističkoj istoriji, prati se istorija dinamičnog osnosa pokretâ za žensku i radničku emancipaciju od kraja devetnaestog vijeka, preko ljevičarskih feminističkih struja tzv. drugog talasa, do savremenih tendencija. Uporednom metodom, interpretiraju se opusi Vide Tomšič, Blaženke Despot i Nade Ler-Sofronić, prema tri kriterijuma: kako ove autorke reinterpretiraju klasike marksizma; kako objašnjavaju odnos pojmova klase i roda; i kakav stav imaju prema tzv. ženskom pitanju u okviru radničkog pokreta, odnosno prema feminističkim organizacijama. Na osnovu toga, u radu se prepoznaju dva originalna jugoslovenska ljevičarska feministička pristupa: samoupravni pristup ženskom pitanju, koji nastaje u tradiciji klasičnog marksizma, povezujući je sa teorijom samoupravljanja, i jugoslovenski socijalistički feminizam, koji kritički pristupa klasičnom kanonu, te premrežava i nadgrađuje drugotalasne lijeve pristupe sa teorijom i praksom samoupravljanja. Proučavanje ovog korpusa tekstova ne zadržava se samo na interpretaciji prošlosti, već postavlja pitanja od ključnog značaja i za savremeni trenutak, koja se tiču mogućnosti savezništva između feminizma i marksizma, kao i drugih progresivnih pokreta. Supervizija zaposlenih u okviru alternativnog staranja o deci i mladima u sistemu socijalne zaštite

AB  - Supervizija je značajna za sprovođenje i unapređenje profesionalnog rada u sistemu socijalne zaštite, pružanje kvalitetnih usluga korisnicima i dalji razvoj vladinog i nevladinog sektora u ovoj oblasti. Ciljevi rada su: a) analiza ključnih funkcija i aspekata supervizije u okviru socijalne zaštite, i b) analiza zakonskih regulativa i istraživanja supervizije u ustanovama za alternativno staranje o deci i mladima Republike Srbije (RS). Daje se pregled funkcija supervizije u socijalnoj zaštiti. Ukazuje se na kompetencije uspešnog supervizora kao važan aspekat supervizijskog rada i na gledište socijalnog konstruktivizma na interekciju između superviziranog i supervizanta. Važeći Pravilnik o bližim uslovima i standardima pružanja usluga u socijalnoj zaštiti predviđa da pružalac usluge obezbeđuje odgovarajuću stručnu podršku svim licima angažovanim na pružanju usluge koja uključuje superviziju. Međutim, regulativa koja dalja uređuju realizaciju supervizije alternativnog staranja o deci i mladima uglavnom nedostaje, sa izuzetkom Centra za porodični smeštaj i usvojenje Beograd. Zanemarivanje supervizije u podzakonskim aktima dovodi do različitih tumačenja i slabe primene u praksi. Supervizija alternativnog staranja o deci i mladima malo je istražena u svetu, a kod nas još manje. O njoj više posredno zaključujemo na osnovu istraživanja u širem ili u srodnom kontekstu. Radi unapređenja i ujednačavanja kvaliteta supervizije, potrebno je zakonski regulisati obavezno sprovođenje supervizije u okviru svih oblika alternativnog staranja i definisati poslove i kompetencije  supervizora, kao i podstaći istraživanja supervizije u ovoj oblasti.  Interesantno bi bilo istražiti supervizijski odnos između savetnika za hraniteljstvo i hranitelja, i između stručnih radnika i korisnika usluga.
AB  - Supervision is important for the implementation and promo-
tion of professional work in the social welfare system, the provision
of quality services to beneficiaries and the further development
of governmental and non-governmental sectors in the area. The
aims of the article are: a) analysis of key functions and aspects of
supervision within social welfare system, and b) analysis of legal
regulations and researches of supervision in the institutions for
alternative care of children and youth of the Republic of Serbia
(RS).

abstract = "Supervizija je značajna za sprovođenje i unapređenje profesionalnog rada u sistemu socijalne zaštite, pružanje kvalitetnih usluga korisnicima i dalji razvoj vladinog i nevladinog sektora u ovoj oblasti. Ciljevi rada su: a) analiza ključnih funkcija i aspekata supervizije u okviru socijalne zaštite, i b) analiza zakonskih regulativa i istraživanja supervizije u ustanovama za alternativno staranje o deci i mladima Republike Srbije (RS). Daje se pregled funkcija supervizije u socijalnoj zaštiti. Ukazuje se na kompetencije uspešnog supervizora kao važan aspekat supervizijskog rada i na gledište socijalnog konstruktivizma na interekciju između superviziranog i supervizanta. Važeći Pravilnik o bližim uslovima i standardima pružanja usluga u socijalnoj zaštiti predviđa da pružalac usluge obezbeđuje odgovarajuću stručnu podršku svim licima angažovanim na pružanju usluge koja uključuje superviziju. Međutim, regulativa koja dalja uređuju realizaciju supervizije alternativnog staranja o deci i mladima uglavnom nedostaje, sa izuzetkom Centra za porodični smeštaj i usvojenje Beograd. Zanemarivanje supervizije u podzakonskim aktima dovodi do različitih tumačenja i slabe primene u praksi. Supervizija alternativnog staranja o deci i mladima malo je istražena u svetu, a kod nas još manje. O njoj više posredno zaključujemo na osnovu istraživanja u širem ili u srodnom kontekstu. Radi unapređenja i ujednačavanja kvaliteta supervizije, potrebno je zakonski regulisati obavezno sprovođenje supervizije u okviru svih oblika alternativnog staranja i definisati poslove i kompetencije  supervizora, kao i podstaći istraživanja supervizije u ovoj oblasti.  Interesantno bi bilo istražiti supervizijski odnos između savetnika za hraniteljstvo i hranitelja, i između stručnih radnika i korisnika usluga., Supervision is important for the implementation and promo-
tion of professional work in the social welfare system, the provision
of quality services to beneficiaries and the further development
of governmental and non-governmental sectors in the area. The

AB  - Field practice is considered as an important part of academic education, but the researches of its aspects and effects are underrepresented. The paper is aimed at: examination of the representation of field practice aspects among undergraduate students of social politics and social work at the Faculty of Political Sciences - University of Belgrade (FPS-UB) and its effects on development of students' professional competencies, an analysis of differences between students of various academic years and an analysis of the association the effects of practice has with characteristics of work organization - teaching base and cooperation with mentors. Research was conducted by TPS1 questionnaire among 201 students within all four years of academic studies. About four-fifths off all questioned students gave positive answers on majority of aspects of cooperation with mentors, practice organization by FPS-UB and teaching base and practice effects, but there were also some deficiencies. Cooperation with mentors and teaching base organization of practice are highly associated with practice effects and both variables combined have independent impact on variance of practice effects. Findings are discussed in the lights of contemporary researches.
AB  - Terenska praksa je važan deo savremenog univerzitetskog obrazovanja, ali su istraživanja njenih aspekata i efekata nedovoljno zastupljena. Ciljevi rada su: analiza zastupljenosti aspekata terenske prakse i zadovoljstva ovim aspektima iz perspektive studenata osnovnih studija socijalne politike i socijalnog rada na Fakultetu političkih nauka Univerziteta u Beogradu (FPN-UB), njenih efekata na razvoj profesionalnih kompetencija studenata, razlika između studenata različitih studijskih godina i povezanosti efekata prakse sa karakteristikama radne organizacije (nastavne baze za praksu) i sa saradnjom sa mentorima. Istraživanje je sprovedeno upitnikom TPS1 među 201 studentom sa sve četiri godine studija. Oko četiri petine studenata je pozitivno ocenilo većinu aspekata saradnje sa mentorom, organizacije prakse od strane FPN-UB i nastavne baze i efekata prakse, ali su se pokazali i nedostaci. Saradnja sa mentorom i organizacija prakse u nastavnoj bazi visoko su povezane s efektima prakse i obe varijable daju nezavisan uticaj na varijansu efekata prakse. Nalazi su diskutovani u svetlu savremenih istraživanja.

AB  - In this paper we analyse the presentation of "others" in Stevan Sremac's short stories. Starting from the understanding of identity and stereotypes in imagology we focus on hetero stereotypes and the portraits of others in two Sremac's short stores - Kir Geras and Kir Moša Abenšaam, or the History about the way in which Kir Moša lost one o f his benefits. Use of humour enables Sremac to portrait the "foreigners" not as "monstrous others" of European cultural tradition, but as close neighbours with whom the readers easily sympathize.
AB  - U radu se analiziraju predstave o drugima u pripovetkama Stevana Sremca. Krećući se od razumevanja identiteta i sterotipa u imagološkim proučavanjima književnosti, rad se fokusira na heterosterotipe i ideju "stranca" u pripovetkama Kir Geras i Ćir Moša Abenšaam, ili Istorija o tome: kako je Ćir Moša izgubio jednu svoju povlasticu. Upotreba humora u obe pripovetke, iako uvek etničkog humora kojim se heterostereotipi afirmišu, omogućava prepoznavanja sebe u drugome, koji se stoga ne doživljava kao "monstruozni sused" iz evropske kulturne tradicije, već kao sused, koji iako i dalje drugi, ne ostaje stranac.

AB  - This paper aims to discuss the meanings and scope of the ontological turn in contemporary anthropology. It discusses various other approaches usually labelled as "ontological" and explains the specificities of the ontological turn itself: reflexivity, conceptualisation, and experimentation. According to the primary authors of the ontological turn, Martin Holbraad and Morten Pedersen, ontology is not the base on which politics, culture, society builds, but the methodological assumptions that centre anthropological knowledge on ethnography as a concept-generating device. Although the ontological turn offers a radical platform for the study of the political, it has not had many followers in regional anthropology. This paper offers a few possible explanations for such a development.

Teaching postsocialism in a postsocialist country: Everyday as a source of the political

AB  - In this paper, I would like to draw attention to the challenges of theorizing and teaching about everyday practices of postsocialist transformation in the former Yugoslavia. I focus on the master course entitled "Cultural and Social Practices of Postsocialism: A Case Study of the Former Yugoslavia" (later renamed "Culture of Socialism and Postsocialism") taught as an elective course at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade. It is designed to offer understanding of different and often contradictory ways in which dramatic changes in Eastern Europe from 1989 onwards have been played out in everyday life of people who live in these regions. The main challenge of teaching this course was to encourage students to critically think about politics in its various guises and connect their everyday experiences with political and cultural theory. Not only does it show that teaching is always political, but that the actual challenge lies in teaching (and learning) the political from the sources and practices of everyday life.
AB  - U ovom radu bavim se izazovima koje donosi predavanje na master kursu o svakodnevici u postsocijalizmu. Izborni master kurs "Kultura socijalizma i postsocijalizma" na master programu Teorije kulture (ranije Teorije kulture i studije roda) nudi kritičku analizu različitih i često protivrečnih puteva postsocijalističkih transformacija u Evropi i načina na koje su se ove promene konstruisale kroz svakodnevicu ljudi koji žive u ovom regionu. Kurs obrađuje različite teme vezane za specifčnosti društvene i kulturne transformacije u bivšoj Jugoslaviji, kao što su promene vezane za sferu rada i dokolice, popularne kulture i potrošnje, istovremeno ih smeštajući u šire okvire društvenih i političkih promena u Evropi. Glavni cilj kursa je da preispita uobičajenu podelu između makronivoa političkih promena i načina na koji se one "održavaju" u svakodnevnom životu, pokušavajući da svakodnevni život vidi ne samo kao prostor kroz koji se promene manifestuju, već i kao njihov izvor. Najveći izazov u ovako zamišljenoj koncepciji predmeta bio je podstaći studente i studentkinje da kritički preispitaju one teorijske pristupe koji polaze "odozdo" i dovedu u pitanje uobičajene puteve od "teorije" ili "visoke politike" ka "običnim" ljudima i praksama. U tom smislu, moj cilj je bio ne samo da podstaknem studente i studentkinje da misle kritički o politici u njenim raznolikim formama, već i da povežu svoja svakodnevna iskustva i prakse sa političkom i kulturnom teorijom. To pokazuje ne samo da je obrazovanje uvek političko, već da pravi izazov leži u razumevanju političkog na osnovu svakodnevnih praksi, koje uključuju i samo obrazovanje. Na taj način, kritičko razumevanje načina na koji se političko predaje pruža važne uvide i u procese savremenih (postsocijalističkih) promena i u prirodu onoga što pod političkim podrazumevamo.

AB  - Social problems are perceived situations incompatible with the values of a significant number of people, which lead to negative social and economic consequences. Their basic characteristics are: that they are predominantly caused by social factors, mass, awareness of their existence and that they can be eliminated by social measures and interventions. The paper analyzes whether social problems are objective social facts that are not questionable or whether social constructs are based on perception, interiorization and cultural diversity. In particular, the influence of social constructivism on the relation of social workers and users, i.e. understanding of the nature of social needs, is pointed out. Social problems, become part of human reality through the processes of externalization, objectification and internalization, which indicates that they can to a significant extent be considered social constructs. This can explain why some of the phenomena, which from the point of view of objective criteria represent social problems in some societies and they are perceived as such, unlike others. In this sense, social problems are not only “objective social facts”, but also social artifacts, products of cultural, value and historical exchanges among people. By rejecting a linear approach in interpreting unsatisfied social needs and introducing the approach of “ignorance” of social workers, i.e. “subjectivity” expressed in the user’s perception of the problem, social constructivism em phasizes the approaches to empowerment, participation and involvement. Language as a social construction in the understanding and explanation of reality and processes in social work introduces terms of strength, resources, assessment and reflection.

AB  - Young people who are preparing to leave alternative care to independence face numerous challenges. However, a number of youth were able to overcome difficulties and these young people achieve a stable environment arragements. The research is part of a larger study and findings from the focus groups will be presented. There were five focus groups which involved 26 young people in care (kinship, foster and residential). Data collection is in a function of a closer consideration of the ways in which young people participate in planning how to understand their part in this process, what are their fears and challenges, but also sources of support that are available to them during the process of preparation for emancipation. Despite the fact that most young people in the sample estimated to possess the skills of taking care of themselfs, the youth still experience lack of support and lack of readiness for leaving care. These findings suggest the need for a timely preparation for independence, which focuses work on the life story to strengthen the faith in their own abilities.
AB  - Mladi koji se spremaju da napuste alternativno staranje radi osamostaljivanja suočavaju se sa brojnim izazovima. Ipak, kod jednog broja mladih uspevaju da prevladaju snage i ovi mladi ostvaruju stabilne životne aranžmane. Istraživanje je deo veće studije, a biće prikazani nalazi dobijeni u fokus grupama. Obavljeno je pet fokus grupa u kojima je učestvovalo 26 mladih koji se nalaze na smeštaju (srodnički, hraniteljski i rezidencijalni). Prikupljanje podataka je u funkciji bližeg sagledavanja načina na koje mladi učestvuju u planiranju, kako razumeju svoje učešće u tom procesu, kakvi su im strahovi i izazovi, ali i izvori podrške koji su im na raspolaganju u toku procesa pripreme za emancipaciju. Uprkos tome što većina mladih iz uzorka procenjuje da raspolaže veštinama staranja o sebi, mladi ipak doživljavaju izostanak podrške i nedovoljne spremnosti za napuštanje staranja. Ovi nalazi upućuju da je potrebna pravovremena priprema za osamostaljivanje, koja je fokusirana na rad na životnoj priči kako bi se ojačala vera u sopstvene sposobnosti.

AB  - Dok su neke druge discipline prolazile kroz kulturni obrt, antropologija je osamdesetih godina prošlog veka doživela 'politički preokret' (Spencer 2007, up. Vincent 1990), ne samo u smislu oživljavanja političke antropologije kao grane antropologije, već i u smislu antropološkog interesovanja za političko - i kao izraz sopstvene pozicije (istraživača i/ili discipline) i kao polje istraživanja1. S tim u vezi, javilo se interesovanje i za antropološko proučavanje države, koja je dugo bila van glavnog fokusa discipline. Razlog za to je jednostavan - antropologija se kao disciplina formirala u proučavanjima 'društava bez države', iako su neki od očeva osnivača kao primarnu temu svojih istraživanja imali upravo 'državu' ili razumevanje njenog nastanka i razvoja (na pr. Luis Henri Morgan). Ovo oživljavanje interesovanja za 'državu' kao fenomen i predmet analize dovelo je do interesovanja za razumevanje različitih oblika moći i vladanja kao kulturno i istorijski specifičnih.

Musealisation of the socialist legacy: Anthropological analysis of the Museum of Yugoslav history

AB  - The main aim of this paper is to show the ways in which socialist legacies were constructed through museum practices. The paper focuses on the importance and meaning of gifts to socialist leaders and the representation of gifts received by Tito in Belgrade's Museum of Yugoslav History. Starting with usual Foucauldian readings of museums and museum narratives in new museology, the paper moves to new readings of classical anthropological theories of gifts and Michael Herzfeld's theory of cultural intimacy and offers a more anthropologically grounded analysis of the Museum's narrative. Concentrating on the House of Flowers - Tito's former winter garden and the place of his tomb where the current permeant exhibition is placed, it is concluded that both former socialist and contemporary Serbian state is encompassed by a singular museum narrative, whose meaning is brought out through the shared cultural intimacy of its visitors.
AB  - Ovaj rad ima za cilj da pokaže načine na koje se socijalističko nasleđe konstruiše kroz muzejsku praksu. Rad se fokusira na značaj i značenje poklona koje su primali socijalistički lideri i njihovu muzeološku institucionalizaciju u Muzeju istorije Jugoslavije. Koristeći nova čitanja klasičnih antropoloških koncepata dara i kulturne intimnosti, rad se nadovezuje na uobičajena tumačenja muzejskih postavki tzv. nove muzeologije i nudi dodatni pogled na načine na koje se konstruiše muzejski narativ. U radu se zaključuje da kroz savremenu stalnu postavku u Kući cveća, nekadašnja jugoslovenska socijalistička država i savremena srpska država bivaju obuhvaćene jedinstvenim muzejskim narativom, koji pripada specifičnom korpusu kulturne intimnosti.

AB  - The aim of this paper is twofold. It should point to the main directions in contemporary studies of the state as an idea and a set of institutional practices and to the ways in which the state can be theorized in the studies of European postsocialism. Anthropological studies of the changes in Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin wall can be turned in the real laboratory for the studies of the state. Central characteristic of these changes is transformation of the state and political system. Anthropological studies of these processes are not merely an illustration of global processes, but an important contribution to the understanding of contemporary political processes in general.
AB  - Ovaj tekst ima dvojak cilj: da ukaže na osnovne pravce u savremenim antropološkim proučavanjima države kao ideje i sistema institucionalnih praksi, i načine na koji je tako shvaćena država teoretizovana u istraživanjima evropskog postsocijalizma i bivše Jugoslavije. Antropološka proučavanja istočne Evrope i promena koje su se u Evropi desile od pada Berlinskog zida predstavljaju pravu laboratoriju za antropološka proučavanja države. Transformacija državnog i političkog sistema centralna je karakteristika ovih promena i uvidi koje su donela istraživanja istočne Evrope i bivše Jugoslavije nisu samo ilustracija globalnih političkih procesa, već značajan doprinos antropološkom razumevanju savremenih političkih procesa.

AB  - Young people who are preparing to leave alternative care to independence face numerous challenges. However, number of young people in spite of numerous challenges were able to build up strenghts, these young people are employed and achieve stable living arangements. The aim of the research is to analyze the connection between personal and environmental factors of young people leaving alternative care and their readiness for emancipation in order to determine the necessary support during the process of preparation for leaving alternative care. The study used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The quantitative part of the study includes, in addition to basic biographical and socio-demographic data, an assessment of the factors contributing to leaving alternative care for young people and who are related to success in education, aspiration, taking care of themselves and their own health, skills and support networks, the experience of his readiness for independence and the perception of the future. Data were collected from questionnaire about the factors that contribute to the leaving alternative care and protocols for collecting data on young people from the system of alternative care. Scales of self-efficacy and resilience were used to measure the influence of these variables on the assessment of the readiness factors for leaving altrnative care...
AB  - Mladi koji se spremaju da napuste alternativno staranje radi osamostaljivanja suočavaju se sa brojnim izazovima. Ipak, kod jednog broja mladih i pored brojnih izazova uspevaju da prevladaju snage, ovi mladi se zapošljavaju i ostvaruju stabilne životne anražmane. Cilj istraživanja je analiza povezanosti ličnih i sredinskih faktora mladih koji napuštaju alternativno staranje i njihove spremnosti za osamostaljivanje radi određivanja potrebne podrške tokom procesa pripreme za napuštanje alternativnog staranja. U istraživanju se koristi kombinacija kvantitativne i kvalitativne metodologije. Kvantitativni deo istraživanja obuhvata, pored osnovnih biografskih i socio-demografskih podataka, procenu faktora koji doprinose napuštanju alternativnog staranja za mlade a koji se odnose na uspeh u školovanju, aspiracje mladih, staranje o sebi i svom zdravlju, veštine i mreže podrške, doživljaj spemnosti za osamostaljivanje i percepciju budućnosti. However, number of young people in spite of numerous challenges were able to build up strenghts, these young people are employed and achieve stable living arangements. The aim of the research is to analyze the connection between personal and environmental factors of young people leaving alternative care and their readiness for emancipation in order to determine the necessary support during the process of preparation for leaving alternative care. The study used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The quantitative part of the study includes, in addition to basic biographical and socio-demographic data, an assessment of the factors contributing to leaving alternative care for young people and who are related to success in education, aspiration, taking care of themselves and their own health, skills and support networks, the experience of his readiness for independence and the perception of the future. Family Constellation as a Treatment for Overcoming the Consequences of Violence on Victims

AB  - The subject of this paper is the implementation of family constellations by Bert Hellinger in work with clients with special emphasis on victims of physical and sexual violence. Although extremely popular in Europe and the world it has not been presented in Serbian scientific literature. As the approach has been developed in Germany as an answer to the situation where a significant part of population was a victim or perpetrator of violence during the Second World War causing suffering not only to them, but also to their offsprings, it offers a special contribution to the work with victims of violence. The aims of the paper are the presentation and analysis of the implementation of family constellations by Bert Hellinger and their effects generally in work with clients as well as with victims of physical and sexual violence. The technique of family constellations based on systemic and phenomenological approach is presented and discussed. Work is in the group, where participants form the circle and person who seeks problem resolution invites representatives persons who are crucial for problem solution previously agreed with constellation facilitator constellator. The constellator communicate with the representatives, encouraging them to express feelings, sensations and movement that will facilitate progress towards finding the optimal solution. The basic theoretical concepts are also analysed, including two types of conscience (individual and family), three basic principles of orders of love (principle of equal right to belong, principle of balance between giving and taking and principle of order) and three levels of the soul (individual, family and great soul). The approach to overcoming consequences of violence on victims of physical violence and incest through symbolic interconnecting with the perpetrator is analysed. When it is applied to violence the victim has an opportunity to get a more comprehensive understanding and to experience an alternative solution that could generate impulse for overcoming the violence. A frequent solution is that the perpetrator takes responsibility and expresses guilt for the deed and suffers together with the victim. That enables the victim to accept and overcome the effects of the violence. This solution is also useful in overcoming consequences of incest because it enables the victim to accept the perpetrator as a member of family. The victim could also have an insight into the role of other family members and significant others, accept it and find a better place in the family for himself/herself. This approach causes different reaction with public with its focus on reparation instead on retribution even in such a difficult issue as incest. Qualitative and quantitative evaluations have documented the positive effects of family constellations on problem solving and social relations of both active and observing participants. Further systematic researches of constellations' effects on victims of violence and comparative studies with other therapeutic approaches are needed.

Implementation of sociodramatic approach in the education of students of social policy and social work

AB  - In this article the effects of application of sociodramatic approach in an academic teaching were explored. The objective of the research was to analyze the effects that system of five teaching units, based on sociodramatic approach, had on the group work variables of students in higher education. The group work variables that were considered were group cohesion, a sense of belonging to a group, a sense of involvement in the group, level of participation in communication, a sense of responsibility for the group, the impact of the participants in the group, the level of organization of the group, the impact of the group informal leaders, the impact of the group formal leader (professor) and focus on the group aim. Research was carried out on a sample of 70 students of Social Policy and Social Work. Applied method was repeated measurements. Analysis of the significance of differences showed significantly higher results for all observed variables in the repeated assessment, while principal component analysis indicated the change in structure of the obtained results. The findings suggest that the application of sociodramatic approach in the academic teaching improves participation of students, their feeling of group belonging and their learning of the method of leading effective group work.
AB  - U ovom radu istraživani su efekti primene sociodramskog pristupa u visokoškolskoj nastavi. Cilj istraživanja je bio analiza efekata koji sistem od pet nastavnih jedinica, zasnovan na sociodramskom pristupu, ima na varijable grupnog rada kod studenata u visokoškolskoj nastavi. Varijable grupnog rada, koje su razmatrane, bile su: grupna kohezija, osećaj pripadnosti grupi, osećaj uključenosti u grupu, nivo učešća u komunikaciji, osećaj odgovornosti za grupu, uticaj učesnika na grupu, nivo organizovanosti grupe, uticaj neformalnog vođe na grupu, uticaj formalnog vođe na grupu (profesorke) i usmerenost grupe cilju. Sprovedeno je istraživanje metodom ponovljenih merenja na uzorku od 70 studenata socijalne politike i socijalnog rada. Analiza značajnosti razlika pokazala je da su u ponovljenom merenju rezultati na svim posmatranim varijablama bili značajno viši, dok je analiza glavnih komponenti sugerisala i promenu u strukturi odnosa između varijabli. Nalazi sugerišu da primena sociodramskog pristupa u nastavi unapređuje participaciju studenata, njihovo osećanje pripadnosti grupi i učenje načina vođenja efikasnog grupnog rada.

Comparative overview of studies on the abandonment of alternative care

AB  - The last two decades was marked by an increase in the number of studies dealing with young people leaving alternative care. Until the 90's of the XX century, research on small samples, describing the needs and lives of young people who have left the system of alternative care, were represented. This paper provides insight into the policies of different countries in terms of young people' transition to independence and examines the differences that exist in determining the concepts, laws and the outcomes of leaving alternative care. Studies have shown that young people leaving alternative care face the risk of social exclusion and marginalization and a lack of political action directed towards this vulnerable group. At the beginning, the challenges and difficulties faced by young people in Western societies drew attention of researchers (Dixon and Stein, 2002; Social Exclusion Unit, 2003). These results were disturbing both for underprivileged young people in care and the social protection system, because it's likely that they will become beneficiaries of the social protection system, as well as socially excluded and dependent on social welfare services as adults. Although in developed countries there are similarities in terms of protection of young people leaving care, the differences in the economic, social, cultural and political context probably influence the different approaches regarding the measures taken to ensure the well-being of young people. Thus, Corden (2001: 288) suggests that the strength of comparing different context lies in a better understanding of alternative frameworks and different perspectives in considering good and bad solutions among different countries.
AB  - Poslednje dve decenije obeležio je porast broja istraživanja koja se bave mladima koji napuštaju alternativno staranje. Sve do devedesetih godina XX veka bila su zastupljena istraživanja na malim uzorcima koja se bave opisom potreba i života mladih koji su napustili sistem alternativnog staranja. Ovaj rad pruža uvid u politike različitih zemalja u pogledu tranzicije mladih ka osamostaljivanju i sagledava razlike koje postoje u određivanju pojmova, zakona i ishoda napuštanja alternativnog staranja. Istraživanja su pokazala da se mladi koji napuštaju alternativno staranje suočavaju sa rizicima socijalne isključenosti i marginalizacije, kao i izostanka političke akcije usmerene ka ovoj osetljivoj grupi. Na početku, istraživačku pažnju privlačili su izazovi i teškoće sa kojima su se suočavali mladi u zapadnim društvima (Dixon and Stein, 2002; Social Exclusion Unit, 2003). Ovi rezultati bili su uznemirujući kako za neprivilegovane mlade koji su na smeštaju tako i za sistem socijalne zaštite, jer postoji velika verovatnoća da će oni postati korisnici usluga sistema socijalne zaštite, da će biti socijalno isključeni ali i zavisni od usluga socijalne zaštite kao odrasli. Iako u razvijenim zemljama postoje sličnosti u pogledu brige za mlade koji napuštaju smeštaj, razlike u ekonomskom, socijalnom, kulturnom i političkom kontekstu verovatno utiču na različite pristupe u pogledu preduzetih mera za obezbeđivanje dobrostanja mladih. Tako Corden (2001: 288) predlaže da snaga poređenja različitih konteksta leži u boljem razumevanju alternativnih okvira i različitih perspektiva u sagledavanju dobrih i loših rešenja među različitim državama.

AB  - The aim of the study was to analyse preferable gender characteristics based on underlying gender stereotypes among the students from the University of Belgrade. The specific objective was to explore the prescribed value and the structure of those stereotypes. The participants were 261 students (69.7% female) from the University of Belgrade, 55.2% from Departments of social sciences and humanities and 44.8% from Departments of technical sciences, from the first to the fourth year of undergraduate studies. In the first phase of the study, we have used the list of eight pairs of desirable male and female prototypical attributes, and in the second phase, we have used the semantic differential scale for evaluative assessment of those attributes. The results have indicated that typical gender stereotypes are still predominant even in the academic environment. Stereotypes are more pronounced in the male sample than in the female one, i.e. women perceive the sexes as more similar to each other than men do. Both men and women evaluated the desirable 'male' characteristics more positively than 'female' ones, but men valued 'female' characteristics significantly lower than women. We identified four groups of students with different structures of stereotypes. The predominant groups of stereotyping expressed masculinisation of both genders, or clear polarisation based on patriarchal tradition. If we consider students as the important strength for development of gender equality, more efforts should be made for understanding influence and planning policies, and programs targeting gender equality on faculties.
AB  - Istraživanje se bavi analizom preferencija rodnih karakteristika koje se zasnivaju na rodnim stereotipima studenata Beogradskog Univerziteta. Cilj istraživanja je bio da se ispita kakva je struktura ovih stereotipa i koje im se vrednosti pripisuju. Ispitivanje je obavljeno na prigodnom uzorku od 261 studenata (69.7% studentkinja i 30.3% studenata),sve četiri godine os- novnih studije sa različitih fakulteta Beogradskog Univerziteta, od čega je 55.2% iz oblasti društvenih nauka, a 44.8% sa tehničkih fakulteta. U prvom delu ispitivanja, učesnicima je data lista od 8 parova atributa od čega je trebalo da u okviru svakog para obeleže koja je karakteristika povoljnija za muškarce, a koja za žene, pri čemu su iste karakteristike mogle da se odaberu za oba pola. U drugoj fazi ispitivanja, koja je obavljena mesec dana kasnije, svi atributi su procenjivani metodom semantičkog diferencijala u cilju određivanja njihove evaluativne vrednosti. Rezultati su pokazali da tradicionalni rodni stereotipi još uvek dominiraju, čak i u akademskoj sredini. Studentkinje su imale tendenciju da procenjuju poželjne rodne karakteristike kao sličnije za oba pola, dok su studenti percipirali veće razlike među polovima. S druge strane, kada su vrednovali ove atribute, i student i studentkinje su više vrednovali one atribute koje su opažali kao preferirane 'maskuline' karakteristike, ali su studenti vrednovali 'feminine' karakteristike značajno niže u odnosu na studentkinje. Latentnom analizom klasa identifikovane su četiri grupe ispitanika sa različitom strukturom stereotipa, koji se mogu odrediti kao oni sa tradicionalno patrijarhalnom polarizacijom rodnih karakteristika, zatim oni koji teže 'maskulinizaciji' oba pola, oni koji preferiraju 'feminine' karakteristike i konačno, oni koji 'mešaju' poželjne rodne karakterisitke nezavisno od toga na koji se pol odnose. Rezultati generalno pokazuju da su rodni stereotipi raspros- tranjeni i da su prisutni kod studenata oba pola. Ipak, stereo- tipi su više prisutni kod studenata. Dve najzastupljenije grupe stereotipa su one koje zastupaju ili maskulinizaciju oba pola ili polarizaciju polova u skladu sa tradicionalnim patrijarhalnim vrednostima. Ukoliko studente vidimo kao značajnu snagu u razvoju rodne ravnopravnosti, ovi rezultati upućuju na to da više napora treba usmeriti ka razumevanju uticaja univerzitetskih programa na održavanje rodnih stereotipa, kao i ka planiranju politika i programa koji su usmereni na podsticanje rodne ravnopravnosti.

Cultural studies and anthropology: Clash of the titans or narcissism of small differences?

AB  - This paper discusses the relationship between social (or cultural) anthropology and cultural studies. During the crisis of representation in the 1980s, anthropology rediscussed its own theoretical positions becoming aware of its political and epistemological positions which pushed the discipline towards the growing trends in cultural studies. This opened up anthropology to various theoretical paradigms that did not originate in the anthropology itself (such as theory of deconstruction, various theories of agency and so on), while at the same time, anthropology still got tied to ethnography as it is core methodological principle. In the meantime, cultural studies lost the political edge they had at a time when it seemed that "cultural studies will be the death of anthropology" facing the crisis of critique, and it seems that it is time for cultural studies to take a look at anthropology. That does not mean that "anthropology will be the death of cultural studies", but rather that cultural studies can meet anthropology through the dialogue with current anthropological paradigms that seem rather distant from the current trends in cultural studies. Primarily, I believe that so-called ontological turn in anthropology deals with radical cultural alterity and calls for the rethinking of current epistemological and political positions in social sciences. Regardless of the position one takes for/against those theoretical developments, the dialogue between these two disciplines should open up space for a new critical rethinking of the contemporary world.
AB  - U ovom radu razmatra se odnos između socio-kulturne antropologije i studija kulture sa dodatnim osvrtom na njihov odnos u domaćoj sredini. Sa pojavom tzv. "krize reprezentacije" osamdesetih godina prošlog veka preispitujući svoje političke i epistemološke pozicije, antropologija je postala svesna svojih političkih pozicija i upustila se u dijalog sa tada narastajućim trendovima studija kulture. Ovaj dijalog doveo je do otvaranja antropologije prema različitim teorijskim paradigmama koje nisu dolazile iz same discipline, već iz različitih pravaca studija kulture (dekonstruktivistička kritika, različite teorije "moći delovanja"), pri tome se najčešće i dalje (s pravom) držeći ideje da je specifičnost antropologije "terenski rad" - određena vrsta etnografske imaginacije. U međuvremenu, sa "krizom kritike", studije kulture izgubile su politički zamajac iz vremena kada se činilo da će "studije kulture biti smrt antropologije", te je situacija danas takva da su studije kulture te koje bi svoju kritičku oštricu mogle da povrate oslanjajući se na neke nove paradigme iz antropologije. To ne znači da će "antropologija biti smrt studija kulture", već pre da se kroz dijalog sa paradigmama koje se čine prilično udaljenim od savremenih kretanja u studijama kulture (kao što je "ontološki obrt") otvori prostor za istinsko promišljanje savremenog sveta, čemu su studije kulture oduvek težile.

Gender dimension of journalism in Serbia

AB  - This paper discusses how the Serbian news media reflect gender inequality in the society through gender structure on the production level. The paper is based on Serbian journalistic community's research done from June 2010 to July 2012 and a secondary analysis of the other published research in the media field. Although findings cannot be generalized, they certainly point to the main problems and mechanisms within the media organizations. From the owners' and managers' positions through the editorial boards, gender structure, choice of topics and interlocutors, to the manner of reporting on specific topics of public interest, media perpetuate a picture of gender roles. This applies in particular to the role of women whose media images often do not correspond with their roles and emancipation in real life. Thus, the social role of women in their communities is limited to patriarchal patterns, and their contribution to the community is minimized. .
AB  - U ovom radu biće pokazano kako informativni mediji u Srbiji, kroz rodnu strukturu na nivou produkcije, oslikavaju rodnu neravnopravnost koja postoji u društvu i na taj način obezbeđuju da se ona bitno ne menja ni na nivou reprezentacije. Rad je zasnovan na istraživanju novinarske zajednice u Srbiji u periodu od juna 2010. do jula 2012. godine i sekundarnoj analizi drugih objavljenih istraživanja u oblasti medija i predstavlja doprinos boljem razumevanju problema rodne neravnopravnosti u novinarskoj profesiji u Srbiji. Iako se svi dosadašnji nalazi ne mogu generalizovati, oni svakako upućuju na glavne probleme i mehanizme. Unutar samih medijskih organizacija, od pozicije vlasnika i menadžera, preko rodnog sastava redakcije, izbora tema, sagovornika i načina izveštavanja o određenim temama od javnog značaja, mediji održavaju određenu sliku rodnih uloga. Fokus je stavljen na informativne medije i redakcije, jer se upravo na tom mestu - gde novinarstvo potvrđuje svoju društvenu odgovornost i profesionalne ciljeve - očitava poseban oblik 'normalizacije' diskriminacije u medijskoj reprezentaciji žena koje rade u medijskoj industriji, preko njihovih sagovornica, do publike čija su životna iskustva ostala van novinarskih sadržaja. Na taj način se i društvena uloga žena u njihovim zajednicama ograničava na patrijarhalne obrasce, a njihov doprinos minimizira. .

Foucault's genealogy as epistemology

AB  - In this paper, I argue that Foucault's theorizing about knowledge, power and the subject of knowledge should be part of epistemology as philosophical discipline. Epistemology is redefined and understood as theorizing about knowledge in general and as inseparable from politics. The paper focuses on genealogy as epistemology starting from the thesis that Foucault in his genealogical works develops a conception of power that has important consequences on epistemological concepts of knowledge and the knower/subject of knowledge who is not a constituting Cartesian subject, but a constituted subject, an effect of power and knowledge constellations. Genealogy (as epistemology) is further understood as 'insurrection of subjugated knowledges', of knowledges and knowers discredited and marginalized by dominant totalizing theories. Subjugated, local knowledges have the potential of creating new epistemological space, because their relation to power could be different than that of dominant knowledges. Therefore, genealogy could be seen as an epistemological method that opens new possibilities for theorizing about knowledge.

AB  - The aim of the paper is reassessment of the role of psychiatry in the treatment of family violence within the context of contemporary approaches and researches. There are prejudices in the general and professional public that perpetrators of family violence are usually persons with mental disorders and that psychiatry is primarily in charge of their treatment; it has been shown that severe mental disorders do not increase the risk of violence. Application of classical psychiatrics approach to family violence treatment is discussed, as well as the roles of psychiatry in current theoretical and therapeutic approaches to this issue, including systemic family therapy, social psychiatry primarily concerned with their treatment. Studies have shown that severe mental disorders do not increase ecology, unwillingness therapy and model of protection of family violence victims that is developed in Serbia.
AB  - Cilj rada bio je preispitivanje uloge psihijatrije u tretmanu nasilja u porodici u svetlu savremenih nalaza i pristupa. Postoje predrasude u opštoj i stručnoj javnosti da nasilne akte u porodici najvećim delom vrše mentalno poremećeni pojedinci, te da je psihijatrija primarno zadužena za njihov tretman. Istraživanja pokazuju da teški mentalni poremećaji ne povećavaju rizik od nasilja. U radu se diskutuje primerenost klasičnog psihijatrijskog pristupa za tretman nasilja u porodici, kao i uloga koju psihijatrija ima u savremenim teorijskim i terapijskim pristupima ovom problemu, uključujući sistemsku porodičnu terapiju, socijalnu ekologiju, prisilnu terapiju i model zaštite žrtava porodičnog nasilja koji je razvijen u Srbiji.

AB  - The article represents critical reasoning about the emergence and development of feminist epistemology from 1980s until nowadays. Feminist epistemology started in part as a critique of traditional epistemology and dualisms underlying traditional epistemological projects. On the other side, feminist epistemologies do not represent merely a critique but they develop alternative theories to masculinistic theories of knowledge. Feminist epistemologies are based on the insight into the relationship between knowledge and power and they claim that there are not epistemological inquiries that are not at the same time political. The relationship between knowledge and politics can be seen in the case of the most developed feminist epistemological theories - standpoint theories that have different forms and variants. The article shows the field of feminist epistemology as highly dynamic, as a field where internal critiques of different approaches to epistemological problems have been already developed. As an example of this internal debate, the article examines critiques of standpoint theories developed within the framework of so called feminist postmodernism.
AB  - Tekst predstavlja kritičko razmatranje nastanka i razvoja feminističke epistemologije od 1980-ih godina do današnjih dana. Feministička epistemologija nastaje jednim delom kao kritika tradicionalne epistemologije i dualizama koji su u osnovi tradicionalnih epistemoloških projekata. Sa druge strane, feminističke epistemologije se ne zadržavaju samo na nivou puke kritike već razvijaju i alternativne teorije maskulinističkim teorijama saznanja. Feminističke epistemologije počivaju na uverenju o vezi između znanja i moći i tvrde da ne postoje epistemološka razmatranja koja nisu istovremeno i politička. Veza između znanja i politike može se videti na primeru najrazvijenijih feminističkih epistemoloških teorija - standpoint teorija koje imaju različite oblike i varijante. Tekst pokazuje područje feminističke epistemologije kao izuzetno dinamično, kao područje u kome su već razvijene takozvane unutrašnje kritike različitih pristupa saznajnoj problematici. Kao primer unutrašnjeg spora, tekst razmatra pristup takozvanog feminističkog postmodernizma u čijem okviru su razvijene kritike standpoint teorija.

AB  - The article presents a development of the systemic family approach as theoretical and therapeutic frame that considers client in relations to gender roles. Structural and strategic family therapy, symbolic-experimental and contextual model developed within systemic family approach are discussed in the view of gender perspective, through its theoretical concepts as well as through therapeutic interventions. Feminist ideas had considerable influence on further development of family therapy. Postgender approach tends to consider as well as balance place of gender perspective in personal and relational development. Modern therapist faces demands to reconsider his own values and beliefs in relation to patriarchal system as well as to values and beliefs of his client and his family.
AB  - Rad prikazuje razvoj sistemskog porodičnog pristupa kao teorijskog i terapijskog okvira koji razmatra klijenta u njegovom odnosu prema rodnim ulogama. Strukturalna i strateška porodična terapija, simboličko-iskustveni i kontekstualni model, koji su razvijeni u okviru ovog pristupa, razmatraju se u svetlu rodne perspektive, kako kroz teorijske koncepte tako i kroz terapijske intervencije. Feminističke ideje znatno utiču na dalji razvoj porodične terapije. Postrodni pristup teži uvažavanju ali i balansiranju mesta rodne perspektive u odnosu na lični i relacijski razvoj. Savremenom porodičnom terapeutu se postavlja zahtev za preispitivanjem sopstvene vrednosti i uverenja u odnosu na patrijarhalni sistem, kao i u odnosu na vrednosti i uverenja klijenta i njegove porodice.
