The United States of America have been formatted as 'a federation of religious, first of all, protestant communicates' and without that fact it is hard to understand the internal structure of the political system and the political life that goes on it. It is particularly important that in spite of secularism, stressed in the first amandman of the Constitution of USA, where the introducing of the state religion is forbidden, American secularism means 'for', and not 'against' religion, as Kennet D. Vald explains. It means that the Constitution of USA, as well as the whole political system, has been inspired by political ideas that originate from religion too. On the other hand, the political life of USA is moved by different interest groups and groups of pressure, and inside them groups based on particular religion have often the main role. It is especially clear from the data that, out of forty two presidents of USA, only one catholic, John Kennedy, succeeded to become the head of the state administration, although the Catholics make 25% of the whole population and they are the most numerous (relatively) religious community in this country. Differently from them: the Presbyterians, episkopals and Unitarians, who make about 4%, gave 22 presidents of America.en
