dc.description.abstractThere are not many theoretical and conceptual dilemmas as regards what reformed system of social care we want. The key problems arise when those theoretically-conceptual models are to be converted into practice. There arises a lot of insufficiently clarified issues. If it is undisputable that the social care system should be based on the plurality of services in the local community, supported by the coordinative functions of social care centers, it is disputable how to carry out those aims in practice. The captioned article presents an attempt to open up some key theoretical terminological and above all practical dilemmas related to the establishment of plurality of services in the social care and the development of the 'atrophied' functions of social care centers. That everything is not left at the question raising level, some definite answers are offered too which can present up to a point visible guidelines for the establishment to a social care system based on the professional work standards, plurality of services coordinator functions of social care centers.en
