Abstract
The author of the present paper attempts to demonstrate that the state of Israel is created as a consequence of the activity and endeavors of the Hebrew people to return to its ancient native country. Along these lines, the referring to the bible and the Judaic religion has always been the foundation stone of the very state of Israel. Through the analysis of the most significant documents related to the functioning of the state, the author emphasizes, the way in which the religion has become one of the most important vector for the organization of political activities in the country. The ensuing conclusion is that without understanding Moses' religion one may find it difficult to grasp contemporary political situation of Israel.
