AB  - У представљеном раду биће анализирана два говора од историјског
значаја за међународне односе и говорништво 21. века. Реч је о говору председника
Руске Федерације Владимира Путина, објављеног 21. фебруара 2022, који се сматра
најзначајнијим званичним саопштењем Русије о дешавањима у Украјини, као и говор
који је његов логички, смислени и контекстуални наставак 24. фебруара 2022. Та два
говора, емитована на више канала и медија, трају сат и пола сата и садрже мноштво
материјалних чињеница изложених посебним реторичким поступцима, најчешће
реторичким примерима неспоразума. Дата је и перспектива руске стране каква није
могла да буде виђена у прозападним медијима. Њоме се поставља еуфемистичка
реинтерпретација дешавања која су у страним медијима еристички представљена
као инвазија, агресија, ратни сукоб и напад.
AB  - The paper will analyze two speeches of historical importance for interna-
tional relations and oratory of the 21st century. The first one is the speech of the President
of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, of 21 February 2022, which is considered the
most significant official announcement of Russia about the events in Ukraine, and the
second one is the speech of 24 February 2022 as its logical, meaningful and contextual
continuation. Those two speeches, broadcast on multiple channels and media, last for an
hour and a half and contain a multitude of material facts exposed through special rhetorical
procedures, most often rhetorical examples of misunderstandings. The perspective of the
Russian side which could not be seen in the pro-Western media is also given here. It sets
up a euphemistic reinterpretation of the events eristically presented in the foreign media
as an invasion, an aggression, a war conflict and an attack.

AB  - U dobu digitalnih sadržaja, informacija ne dopire do čoveka samo
posredstvom standardnih i utvrđenih jezičkih i žanrovskih formi. Osim hibridnih, u
javnosti je moguće iskusiti mnoštvo drugih žanrova, u skladu sa kontekstom aktuelne
stvarnosti. Prvi novinarski žanr izdvojen iz sveta književnosti – kolumna – danas nije
samo književnost u malom. U njoj se odvijaju tokovi koje možemo posmatrati iz ugla
književnih studija i studija novinarstva jer zadržava normirana žanrovska svojstva,
dajući nove dimenzije značenja. Genoloških istraživanja u oblasti medija je malo. Ču-
vanje obeležja tradicionalnih žanrova teško je kao i oblikovanje novih žanrova koji se
mogu označiti kao alternativni. Kolumna u javnom diskursu danas nije zanemarena
već, naprotiv, privlači pažnju mladih generacija (nedeljnici, portali, nove medijske
platforme poput Jutjuba ili Ted razgovora). Kolumna kao protivžanr jeste osvedočena
„navika” teksta da se oblikuje nasuprot očekivanju. Kolumnista sam određuje svoje
žanrovske granice. Ironijsko-parodijska, negatorska, nihilistička strana kolumne pro-
ističe iz nesigurnosti novinarskog diskursa. Neprestano meandriranje forme utiče na
njeno opažanje. Protivžanrovska svojstva kolumne čine je kritički okrenutom prema
genološkim konvencijama. Kolumna nema strogih konvencija, osim konvencija razbi-
janja konvencija i nastojanja da bude „nekonvencionalna”. Kolumna pomera granice i
značenja žanrova i doprinosi decentriranju savremenog medijskog diskursa. Ona postaje
nova strukturna dominanta savremenog novinarstva.
AB  - n the age of digital content, information does not reach people only
through standard and established linguistic and genre forms. In addition to hybrids, it
is possible to experience many other genres in public, in accordance with the context of
current reality. The first journalistic genre singled out from the world of literature – the
column – today is not just small-scale literature. There are currents in it that we can
observe from the angle of literary and journalistic studies because it retains the stand-
ardized genre properties, giving new dimensions of meaning. There is little genealogical
research in the field of media. Preserving the features of traditional genres is as difficult
as shaping new genres that can be labeled as alternatives. The column in public discourse
today is not neglected, but, on the contrary, it attracts the attention of young generations
(weeklies, portals, new media platforms such as YouTube or Ted talk). The column as
a counter-genre is a proven “habit” of the text to take shape against expectations. The
columnist himself determines his genre boundaries. The ironic-parodic, negative, nihilistic side of the column stems from the uncertainty of journalistic discourse. The constant
meandering of the form affects its perception. The anti-genre features of the column
make it critically oriented towards genealogical conventions. The column has no strict
conventions, other than conventions breaking conventions and trying to be “unconventional.” The column pushes the boundaries and meanings of genres and contributes to
the decentralization of contemporary media discourse. It is becoming the new structural
dominant of contemporary journalism.

The style of the Serbia media (2010-2020) - the language of the crisis

AB  - The societal crisis’ influence on the crisis of the language in contemporary Serbian journalism
is prevailing. Words have been increasingly framed into inappropriate content. Homonyms
are gradually becoming the only way to debate and give second opinions. Globalizing vo-
cabulary with fashionable phraseology, manipulative rhetoric and the artificial realignment of
language serve as the basis of rhetorical and stylistic research presented in this work. Casual
populist political speeches and sensationalistic topics in Serbia are in the centre of events,
even though they are easily forgotten. An apparent lack of creativity in language results in
the glorification of a globalizing rhetorical model. This leads to a sort of recycling of language
patterns and a pathetic usage of metaphors in everyday life, hence the apparent emergence of
a new kind of sensationalism. Different linguistic matrices obsessively repeat themselves in
the same rhetorical frame. Therefore, the language of journalists is increasingly reduced to the
form and the form is reduced to the void. In this article, the analysis of the contemporary use
of stylistic knowledge by media professionals will be conducted within a sample of one year of
broadcasts during 2019–2020, prior to the pandemic. The authors explain the methodology
of the research by describing the theoretical approach and the methods used to substanti-
ate the hypothesis. The research aims to show the gradual change of media language during
the current professional, economic and moral crises. A vast majority of media have a com-
mon inherited loss of truly free expression. Instead of free relations, a plethora of excessive
self-censorship and hidden advocacies and connections is being extended. This appears to be
a certain eternity or bad infinity of the shadows in the media.

Where a reality show begins

AB  - Today, one can speak more about how reality shows are made and how they are maintained, about their chameleon perspective and their own view inwards and outwards. And it is only there that an answer to the question of where reality TV begins and where it can end can be sought. Reality TV involves a special creative uncertainty and a certain moral decay. Reality shows also involve a matter of choice: who will participate, how will they react, who will watch and evaluate the reality of the reality show and the conditions that have led to it? In reality programmes, things are always viewed from the reduced and stripped point of view of the organizer. Have fun and make money. If the rhetorical points of view that affect different perspectives of reality shows are properly considered, the effect is, in the end, always in the political field.
AB  - U čije ime se odvija rijaliti? Kako gledaocu može biti zanimljivo netto što podseća na dramu, a nije drama; na film sa različitim žanrovskim oznakama, a nije film; na vodvilj, groteskni smehotres, vašarsku zabavu, a da se u tome ne nalazi gotovo nikakva estetska vrednost? Zašto su gledaocima uopšte potrebni takvi sadržaji? Šta se dešavau ljudskom iskustvu ako se svakodnevno bavi životima drugih (običnih i moguće je poznatih)? Hipoteza podrazumeva preispitivanje uticaja skrivenog političkog gledišta na rijaliti program i uticaja rijaliti programa na političko stanovište savremenog gledaoca. Rijalitijima se smišljeno prekida svakodnevni životni tok pojedinih ličnosti sa obećanjem da mogu da reše svoja materijalna pitanja i druga pitanja koja se, ponekad, doživljavaju kao "životna". Od izbora jelovnika do izbora vremena za "žurku", sve je unapred određeno. Uobičajeni tokovi se prekidaju i junaci počinju da se bave nečim drugim što malo ili nimalo zavisi od njihove volje. Ništa predviđeno ne pripada autentično njihovom životu, ali ipak postoje uporišne tačke u paralelnoj stvarnosti. Paralelna stvarnost zamenjuje političku, stvarnu. Na toj simulaciji se zasniva i nova poetika rijalitija. Sve je na simuliranoj "energiji" i "podgrevanju" emocija zasnovanih, najpre, na činjenici izdvajanja. Otuda je jedan od ključnih momenata odnos između nametnutih zadataka i tzv. opuštanja. Život se na taj način bitno siromaši i oduzima mu se pravi smisao iako se čini da je sve zanimljivo, na "posebnim zadacima", i puno smisla. Okvir tome daju namešteni aplauzi, izveštačeni smeh i isforsirane svađe. Umesto subjektima, osobe u rijalitiju se doživljavaju kao objekti pogodni za manipulaciju svake vrste, pa i medijsko-političku manipulaciju.

Zoran Đinđić's political oratory: Principle of utopia and logic of hope

AB  - The paper explores Zoran Đinđić's political oratory by placing emphasis on the rhetorical and style analysis of certain speeches, as well as on the verbal and non-verbal aspects of communication. On the grounds of the theoretical model on the existence of dominant communication paradigms: authoritarian, democratic and liberal-democratic ones, his political speeches have been observed within the democratic paradigm of political communication. To a significant extent, our interest has been directed towards determining genre models and genre specificities of Đinđić's political speeches and also towards recognizing the most important political ideas in the context of general geopolitical, historical, cultural and social changes. By applying comparative rhetorical and style analysis to certain Đinđić's political speeches, we have singled out their common characteristics and described in more details the specificities of oratory procedures characteristic for this speaker.
AB  - U radu se istražuje političko besedništvo Zorana Đinđića, uz stavljanje akcenta na retoričko-stilsku analizu pojedinih beseda, te na verbalne i neverbalne aspekte političke komunikacije. Njegove političke besede se, na osnovu teorijskog modela o postojanju dominantnih komunikacijskih paradigmi, posmatraju u okviru demokratske paradigme političkog komuniciranja. Naše interesovanje je jednim značajnim delom bilo usmereno i u pravcu određivanja žanrovskih modela i žanrovskih specifičnosti Đinđićevih političkih beseda, a potom i na uočavanje najvažnijih političkih ideja u kontekstu opštih geopolitičkih, istorijskih, kulturnih i socijalnih promena. Primenom komparativne stilsko-retoričke analize pojedinih političkih beseda Zorana Đinđića, izdvojili smo njihova zajednička obeležja i detaljnije opisali specifičnosti besedničkog postupka koje su karakteristične za ovog govornika.

AB  - The impact of the crisis, material and moral, to the modern public relations is all the more obvious. Verbal and non-verbal PR appearances are increasingly showing inappropriate content. Homonyms and pathos dominate the public language. Globalization lexicon is fashionable, cheaply witty, manipulative and artificial. Marginal side of life, incidental passing populist speeches and sensationalist themes became the center of events. Apparent lack of creativity in the language of PR service conditions glorification in firm globalization rhetorical models. This leads to a kind of recycling of linguistic and other matrices and pathetic metaphors of everyday life. Hence, it is obvious phenomenon of neopathetic sensationalism. Mixing different language matrix gradually leads to obsessive repetition of the same rhetorical scheme. Therefore, the language of PR services is reduced to the form, a form of emptiness.
AB  - Uticaj krize, materijalne i moralne, na savremene odnose sa javnošću sve je očitiji. PR nastupima se, verbalnim i neverbalnim, sve češće, daje neodgovarajuća sadržina. Homonimi i patetika dominiraju. Globalizacijska leksika protkana pomodnim frazerstvom, jeftinim dosetkama, manipulativnom retorikom i veštačkim poravnjanjem jezika preovlađuje. Marginalne strane života, uzgredni prolazni populistički govori i senzacionalističke teme postaju središte zbivanja. Vidljivo pomanjkanje stvaralaštva u jeziku PR službi uslovljava glorifikaciju okoštalih globalizacijskih retoričkih modela. To vodi svojevrsnom recikliranju jezičkih i drugih matrica i patetične metaforike svakodnevice. Otuda je očita pojava neopatetičkog senzacionalizma. Mešanje različitih jezičkih matrica postepeno vodi opsesivnom ponavljanju iste retoričke sheme. Stoga se jezik PR službi sve češće svodi na formu, a forma na prazninu.

AB  - In this paper it will be analysed the language of the marginals on the media, which stresses more clearly the means of tribal language. It's more frequent to see ritual, ceremonial style of public speakers from the margins, only they occasionally insert somewhat disturbing vividness, they lower the main level of rhetorical culture and accent the possibilities for the intolerance. There begins an extraordinary negativity of the language norms. It is preached to be clear in public, but actually it is still spoken unclear and in determined or, as in many reality shows, privacy and private language expand. In such circumstances, possibilities for creative changes and innovations in language are strictly limited. Indirectly the language norm becomes relative and starts being marginalised.
AB  - U radu se analiziraa jezik margine na medijima kojim se potpunije ističe duh plemenskog jezika. Sve češća, obredno-stilska obraćanja marginalaca na medijima, osim što povremeno unose izvesnu uznemirujuću živost, snižavaju opšti nivo retoričke kulture i nagalašavaju mogućnosti posebne netolerancije. Tako se rađa svojevrsna negativna normiranost jezika. Propoveda se duh jasnosti na javnoj sceni, a u stvari se i dalje govori nejasno i neodređeno ili se, u brojnim rijalitijima, privatnost i privatni jezik ogoljuju do krajnjih granica. U takvim okolnostima, mogućnosti za stvaralačke promene i inovacije u jeziku jesu vrlo ograničene. Posredno se tako marginalizuje i relativizuje jezička norma.

AB  - This text is about manipulation with words, the use and misuse of the public speaking, numerous eristic challenges for the media which imply that the world of political and media simulation is commonly understood as a form of verbal violence. Communication is determined with that kind of verbal (mis)use. Therefore it is reasonable to question political speech as it is and its' position on the media scenery. Eristic system is obviously established by means of manipulation, and not creativity. Ethics is far behind. Different ways of political propaganda promote wanted, and not needed public values. .
AB  - U tekstu se govori o sve češćoj manipulaciji rečima, upotrebi i zloupotrebi javnoga govora, brojnim erističkim medijskim izazovima koji upućuju na to da se život u svetu političkih i medijskih simulacija neophodno doživljava i kao svojevrsno verbalno nasilje. Komunikativni odnosi pretežno su određeni tim predstavama. Neminovno se, otuda, postavlja pitanje političkoga govora i njegovog položaja na medijskoj sceni. Vidljivo se uspostavlja svojevrsni eristički sistem kome je bliža manipulacija od kreativnosti. Etika se, često, ostavlja po strani. Različitim vidovima političke propagande promovišu se ciljane, a ne poželjne vrednosti. .

AB  - This paper claims that education in Serbia, shaped under strong outside influence of politics, as often as not, pays the price of social prominence and aristocratic spirit in decline. The investigation then goes on to investigate the assumptions underlying modern upbringing, also dealing with pedagogic skills and traits of contemporary educational style. It ends with the conclusion that a contemporary educator should be as close as possible to real life. He should be a committed alchemist of the future.
AB  - U radu se govori da snažno oblikovano spolja, pretežno iz sveta politike,vaspitanje u Srbiji, suštinski, plaća ponekad ceh društvene isturenosti i aristokratskog duha u propadanju. Potom se razmatraju pretpostavljena pravila modernosti u vaspitanju. Govori se o vaspitačkim veštinama i svojstvima savremenog obrazovnog stila. Najzad, zaključuje se da savremeni vaspitač treba da je što bliži stvarnom životu. Kao posvećeni alhemičar budućnosti.

Nušić's Autobiography: From parabolic laughter to allegorical tragedy

AB  - Nearly all chapters of Nušić’s Autobiography mention, directly or indirectly, the facts of dying and death. The chapter 'The Army' mentions death when a man’s height is measured. In Nušić’s work, the hero is almost always left with a sense of defeat. If the tragedies end with no possibility of an aftermath, the genre of Autobiography is questionable - it ends with the deceased being interviewed. From a present viewpoint, it can be argued (with many arguments) that we can discern a way from parabolic laughter to tragic allegory.
AB  - Gotovo da nema poglavlja Nušićeve Autobiografije u kome se ne govori, posredno ili neposredno, o činjenicama umiranja i smrti. I u odeljku 'Vojska' smrt se pominje kada čoveku uzimaju meru. U Nušićevom delu skoro da nema mesta u kome se junak ne oseća poraženo. Ako se tragedije završavaju tako da posle njih ništa ne predstoji, kom žanru, onda, pripada Autobiografija u kojoj pokojnik, na kraju, daje intervju. Sa današnje distance u tome može, sa mnogo dokaza, da se vidi put od paraboličnosti smeha do alegorizma tragedije.

AB  - Having a vibrant media scene is a necessary prerequisite of human development and good governance. Media, as main promoters of economic, but also cultural and thereby overall humanistic values, have to involve permanently in the process of cooperation. How much the contemporary journalism, orientated rather towards the commercialization of life in general, sensationalism and creating wrong criteria of social, accepts or refuses such a role? In media communication, however, the old patterns of misuse of the media and their freedom have not been exterminated. The paper deals with a substantial analysis of moral relativism and media socialization. The solution is not to complain and criticize. We have to admit that the audience of the media users is changing nowadays. The journalism is changing, too. The solution is not to look for the social responsibility of journalism, but of the owners as well. The solution can be found only if they look for it together, following democracy and the development of new media profile, which finds the profit in truth, prosperity and social responsibility.
AB  - Novinar-manirista i nema sopstvenih namera. Odriče se čina stvaralaštva u novinarstvu. Stvaralaštvo zamenjuje fraziranjem. Kloni se svoje mašte. Ponavljanje shema, klišea, šablona jeste intelektualna ravan po kojoj se najčešće kreće. Jezikom se samo ublažavaju stvarne napetosti i lakira stvarnost, u crno ili belo, svejedno. Njegovo nezadovoljstvo postaje groteskno parcijalno kretanje prema lažnim ukrasima. Umesto da se naoruža mudrošću i strpljenjem, novinar se survava u klišetizirane meandre jezika i sa patetičnom upornošću ne suočava se sa pravim problemima. Novinar kao da ne vidi dobro, pa i jezik prilagođava upornom slepilu uvećavajući eufemistička čvorišta svoga jezika. On, najčešće, samo aludira na stvari, ali ih ne čini vidljivim. On traga, ali ređe nalazi. Sumnja, ali ne otkriva do kraja. Deluje po principu istovetnosti, menjajući malo prostor oko sebe. Princip sličnost je njegov trajni poetički moto. Novinar-manirista svuda vidi sličnosti i znake istovetnosti. Za njega sve pojave liče pomalo jedna na drugu. Teško uviđa zapretane veze među stvarima.

AB  - There is a thesis in work that we can recognize a person that has adopted main places of globalization, in the first place, by the language that person uses. However, that is something that is not as obvious as need that some persons, even some media, to be presented differently and more modern than they really are. General place of globalization is, therefore, continuous and force-implemented modernization.
